As far as I can tell none of the changes are critical; definitely not on i386. Watch out for the next major release, which will include many changes resulting from the discussion about extended attributes and access control lists on both acl-devel and linux-fsdevel. I hope I will get out the new code this year :-) List of changes: * The `asmlinkage' prefix was missing for the sys_ext_attr_path, sys_ext_attr_fd, and sys_ext_attr_proc system calls. * Superfluous inode locking code was removed from fs/ext_attr.c. * The data type for extended attribute value buffers was changed from char * to the more appropriate void *.
