LUGOD, The Linux Users' Group of Davis, will hold its next meeting on:

The meeting will be held at:

  Davis, CA 95616


The topic will be:

  Samba
  presented by Jeremy Allison

  Samba is an open source software suite that
  provides seamless file and print services to
  SMB/CIFS (MS-Windows networking) clients.

  Jeremy Allison co-wrote a majority of the code
  in Samba, and currently works at VA Linux Systems on
  both Samba and in VA's Professional Services.


Free food:

  Deli sandwiches, coffee, cake and more will be
  available for free during this meeting,
  to celebrate LUGOD's 2 year anniversary.
