Moiz Kohari, president of Mission Critical Linux will discuss the changes he has seen in Linux over the past two years, his own forecast of the condition of Linux in the enterprise and a vision of where it is heading. He will also discuss groundbreaking support tools and services that have swept their way into the daily lifestyle of Linux. Among these new services include Lifeguard. An innovative monitoring service which works within and outside a firewall to monitor systems, applications -or service- uptime, alerting customers of interruptions or failures via email and pager. Moiz will elaborate more on this technology and the future wave of new Linux services.
