REDSONIC TEAMS WITH AMPRO COMPUTERS TO DELIVER COMPLETE LINUX SOLUTIONS FOR EMBEDDED APPLICATIONS

Partnership to create standard Linux-based solutions to accelerate time-to-market.

Santa Ana, CA ¡VMarch 6, 2001 - REDSonic, Inc., a creative new force within the embedded system marketplace and the developer of the flexible Real-Time Linux kernel, REDICE-LinuxTM, announced today it is partnering with Ampro Computers, the proven innovator and leading supplier of the popular PC/104 and EBX single board computer standard to provide complete, Linux solutions for the embedded marketplace.  The strategic alliance will provide the embedded community with total software-integrated single-board computer (SBC) hardware solutions that facilitate an accelerated product time-to-market.

REDSonic has joined Ampro¡¦s Embedded Connection Partner Program and has begun an effort to port REDICE-Linux to Ampro¡¦s Pentium-based single board computers, including the Little Board P5x, CoreModule P5e and new EnCore 500.  REDICE-Linux solutions for the three boards are expected to be available in 30 days.
