gnocle Version 0.0.1 is available at

This is the first official announced version.

gnocl is a Tcl extension (package) which implements gtk and gnome
widgets loosely modeled after the great Tk package.

In this sense it is different from e.g. tcl-gtk 
(http://tcl-gtk.sourceforge.net/) because it does not try
to be a direct mapping from gtk, but to provide easy to use
commands to build quickly gnome compliant user interfaces 
(including canvas widget!).

This is an pre-alpha release: the software is incomplete, has
known bugs and is therefor only intended for developers. It has
apart from some test files and examples absolutely no documentation.
It is tested with Gnome version 1.2.8 and Tcl version 8.3.2
