This is the announce of the first release of ActiveDvi, a DVI
previewer/presenter written in O'Caml, with some eye candy effects for
your cool conference talks.

It features the normal DVI preview and the followings:

   * Encapsulated Postscript File inclusion (using graphics package)

   * Some effects for presentation (pause, delay, text color change)

       Using mldvi.sty included in the source package, you can embed
       these effects in your TeX files easily.

The source code and information are available at
    http://pauillac.inria.fr/activedvi/

Contributions and comments are welcome.

 2. New 0.417 Release of MMM

 3. Version 1.02 of the CamlImages library

The news! The news!:

1.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
New 0.417 Release of Caml/Tk
We are pleased to announce the new 0.417 version of Caml/Tk. It is a
bug fix and up-to-date version of Caml/Tk that runs with Tcl/Tk 8.0/8.3
and the 3.01 version of the Objective Caml compiler.
CamlTk home page is http://pauillac.inria.fr/camltk/
CamlTk source files can be found at ftp://ftp.inria.fr/cristal/
Minor changes:
-- the widget compiler has been revised not to generate warnings.
-- the japanese support has been fixed for Tk8.0.
Enjoy.
New 0.417 Release of MMM
What is MMM ?
-------------
MMM is a Web Browser entirely written in Caml by François Rouaix. It
has some cool features, such as its low memory footprints (well not so
low in fact), its Caml applet system, its automatic HTML 3.2 checking
and editing facility. In addition, it is safer than usual browsers
since it does not support Java.
On the other hand MMM has some drawbacks, such as the lack of Java
support, its bad support for frames, and its terrible way of handling
tables.
Why using MMM ?
---------------
Anyway, MMM has some fervent supporters in the Caml community; in the
first place because it proves that some non trivial programs such as a
browser that must use a complex graphical interface can be written in
our favorite functional language; also because it never crashes.
More importantly, we love MMM for its ability to detect
``uninteresting'' pages: normally extremely fancy pages cannot be
displayed at all by MMM. So, you gain some of your precious time by
just looking at another, more interesting, corner of the Web!
An additional way of using MMM is to verify that your WEB pages are
not too ``my browser only'': if your pages are displayed correctly by
MMM, it is a good indication that they will be displayed the same with
other browsers.
The new release:
----------------
We are pleased to announce the new 0.417 version of MMM. It is a bug
fix and up to date version of MMM that runs with Tcl/Tk 8.0 or later
and the 3.01 version of the Objective Caml compiler.
MMM home page is at http://pauillac.inria.fr/mmm/
MMM source files can be found at
ftp://ftp.inria.fr/INRIA/Projects/cristal/mmm/
Minor changes:
-- update the applets system for the 3.01 version of Objective Caml.
Enjoy MMM.
