Re: Embedded Internet Conference, August 14-16, Santa Clara Convention
Center

Hi, everybody!

The conference program is coming along. However, we have slots available to
fill. We particularly need longer tutorials; several 3.5-hour slots are
available on Tuesday. Those are an ideal place to discuss subjects such as
embedded java, embedded Linux, developing embedded Web applications, etc.

Rich Quinnell of TechOnLine mailto:rquinnell@techonline.com is our
Tutorial Chairperson. We also need presenters in all sessions
and panelists for Wireless Communications, Internet Appliances,
Market Analysis and Future of Embedded Internet.

Exhibitors

We have 33 exhibitors so far, but there's still room left. To reserve
a space, call Rudy Gentry at 972-714-9869 x9503 or e-mail him at
r.gentry@embeddedinternet.com. He also has information on
advertising in the Preview Program and Conference Directory.

Please help us publicize the conference. We need Web site links
to http://www.embeddedinternet.com. Mention us
on your events page and use our Web banner. Get the word out on bulletin
boards (physical or electronic) and reflectors so your clients know where
to come see you. Contact marketing guru Anne O'Neill at
972-714-9869 x2336 or
mailto:a.oneill@embeddedinternet.com. Anne also
has promotional materials you can distribute at conferences, meetings,
short courses, etc. Give her advance notice.

We are accepting prize donations for the exhibit hall raffle. Send
T-shirts, jackets, sports equipment, flashlights, tool sets, books
or other goods - including computer hardware or software - with
your company's logo. We'd be glad to mention your name on the
raffle table and during the raffle. Hey, every bit of publicity helps.
Pauline Osborne (p.osborne@embeddedinternet.com) is in charge.
You can send items to her at 827 D St., Petaluma CA 94952.

Thanks, everybody! And don't hesitate to volunteer if you see an
opening or have something you're eager to do or contribute. Don't
forget to email me your response to the survey below.

See you in Santa Clara,
