The topic will be:

  LDAP: Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
  presented by Brian Lavendar

  LDAP is a software protocol for enabling anyone to locate organizations,
  individuals, and other resources such as files and devices in a
  network, whether on the Internet or on a corporate intranet. It is
  often used by email programs to look up contact information.

  LDAP originated at the University of Michigan and has been
  endorsed by at least 40 companies, including Netscape, Cisco,
  Novell, Apache Foundation, IBM, Lotus and Microsoft.
