Version 0.6.12 of SBCL has been released. This version integrates many
patches from CMU CL, generates more efficient code for floating point and
complex operations, makes the cross-compiler more portable to
ANSI-conforming compilation hosts, fixes several bugs, and more.

SBCL (Steel Bank Common Lisp) is a Common Lisp implementation forked from
CMU CL (CMU Common Lisp) which puts a greater emphasis on maintainability.
SBCL currently runs under Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD on x86 CPUs. Ports to
other architectures are planned.
