From: Gregory Wright <gwright@home.com> To: lwn@lwn.net Subject: Haskell updates for development Date: Thu, 31 May 2001 14:34:52 -0400 Hi, There have been some recent Haskell updates that should be noted in the development section: On 24 May 2001, version 5.00.1 of the Glasgow Haskell Compiler was released. This was a bugfix release. From the announcement, users of 5.00 are recommended to upgrade to 5.00.1. On 18 May 2001, a beta version of Hat, the Haskell tracer, was released by the University of York Functional Prgramming Group. Hat works with version 1.04 of nhc98, the York Haskell compiler. Hat is a tool for examining program execution; it may be used for debugging or teaching how functional programming systems work.
