market-leading Webcam32(TM) and ISpy Webcam software, today announced
Webcamsat(TM), a family of Webcam management tools that will fundamentally
change the way audio and video is distributed and accessed over the
Internet.

Numerous Webcam portals, including Surveyor's popular www.camcity.com and
www.webcamresource.com, exist to aggregate and stream live Webcam feeds for
public viewers. ``Although these sites have historically been effective at
organizing such content, nobody has ever equipped content owners or
cooperatives with the ability to organize their own content under their own

Webcamsat Product Features

Most Web developers can create Web pages to display camera feeds, but their
presentation and control will be greatly enhanced by Webcamsat's
capabilities. The Webcamsat Server is a collection of server-side modules
enabling Web developers to manage and deliver multiple live or archived
Webcam feeds. Three types will be available for a wide range of users --
basic, mid-level and top-of-the-line.

The basic ``Community'' package features support for live streaming video
and audio from Webcams, including cameras with dynamic IP Internet addresses
and dial-up service. Other features include category management and Webcam
search tools, automatic ``skin'' Web page generation for presentation of
Webcam images, and administration tools for managing viewer access to
specific cameras.

The mid-level ``Power'' package includes the additional features of stream
reflection, stream archiving and ``firewall push,'' enabling multiple
simultaneous viewers to access a Webcam even if located behind a security
firewall. Additional administration tools are provided to monitor bandwidth
usage and manage the reflection and archive functions.

The top-line ``Pro'' package includes ``cascading reflection,'' enabling
multiple servers to deliver an unlimited number of simultaneous video and
audio streams.

With the increasing proliferation of Internet streamed audio and video,
combined with wider, cheaper access to broadband, Webcamsat is well
positioned to serve the needs of a broad cross-section of content
