From: Paolo Amoroso <amoroso@mclink.it> To: cook-lisp@lwn.net Subject: ECLS 0.2 released Date: Fri, 29 Jun 2001 17:28:47 +0200 Version 0.2 of ECLS (Embeddable Common-Lisp "Spain") has been released. This version mainly provides a rewritten error system based on conditions, includes an ANSI test suite, and fixes some bugs in the compiler and bytecode compiler. ECLS is a Common Lisp implementation that aims to ANSI compliance. It was forked from ECoLisp (Embeddable Common Lisp), which in turn was based on KCL (Kyoto Common Lisp), an early Common Lisp implementation. ECLS features a bytecode compiler and interpreter, a translator to C, a foreign function interface, the possibility of generating standalone executables, and more.
