From: Greg KH <greg@kroah.com> To: linux-security-module@wirex.com Subject: 2001_07_06 patch against 2.4.6 Date: Fri, 6 Jul 2001 12:07:06 -0700 The latest lsm patch is available against 2.4.6 http://lsm.immunix.org/patches/lsm-2001_07_06-2.4.6.patch.gz The BitKeeper tree has _NOT_ been updated with this version. This is a hand forward port of the existing BitKeeper tree (which is based on 2.4.6-pre3) to the 2.4.6 final tree. The current BitKeeper tree is a bit b0rked with regards to importing the clean kernel tree. People are working on it, hopefully :) Here's a list of the things that have changed since the 2001_06_20 patch: - now against 2.4.6 - hooks added for SysV IPC message queues (by Chris Vance) - hook for sysctl added (by Wayne Salamon) - minor changes that didn't get added from Stephan Smalley's patch before. - removed set_label and reset_label hooks - bug fixes to get the capabilities module to compile properly - more checks added to the register_security module function - fixed dummy_msg_queue_msgsnd to have the proper arguments (thanks to Richard Offer). - removed add_vfsmnt hook - small code formatting changes - lock, llseek, and permission hooks added (by Wayne Salamon) - removed attach_pathlabel hook Let me know if anyone has any problems with this latest version. thanks, greg k-h _______________________________________________ linux-security-module mailing list linux-security-module@wirex.com http://mail.wirex.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-security-module
