hi all,

it looks like another bug slipped through our fingers, and build 36 won't
let you use the keyboard during installation.  we ask that you either
update from an existing RL installation or wait for build 37 to install
Redmond Linux.

fyi:

we have set a firm September 21st ship date for Redmond Linux Personal,
Amethyst release.  our web site www.redmondlinux.org now includes a
counter showing the number of days, hours, and minutes until release.

the network neighborhood clone [Local Area Network] is now complete!  you
can now browse windows computers and shares throughout your entire
network.  this is detailed on our web site at
www.redmondlinux.org/personal/nethood.php.

there have been some issues in the past regarding video cards which use
the SiS6326 chip.  we believe those issue to be cleared up now, and
recommend all users with SiS6326 video cards clean install build 37 as
soon as it is released to help us test the fix.

we have procured an i810 system and have begun testing on it.  the
preliminary results are promising, and we expect RL to install flawlessly
on an i810 motherboard system in the near future.

the redmond linux web and ftp sites will be moved to a different facility
soon.  we will give you more information as it happens.
