Problem Description:

 The Italian locales file as shipped with Mandrake Linux 8.1 did not
 contain the base Italian locale "it".  This update provides the missing
 locale.

Please verify the update prior to upgrading to ensure the integrity of
the downloaded package.  You can do this with the command:
  rpm --checksig package.rpm

For example, if you are looking for an updated RPM package for
