First its homepage: http://humanity.berlios.de/ The "Humanity - The Movie" project will write the screenplay for a film in a similar manner in which large-scale software projects are written today. Hence, many writers will collaborate by using Internet resources. Furthermore, for each scene possibility there can be several alternatives, and each alternative can be rendered into several versions. "Humanity" is a parody about humanity and modern life in particular. It tells the story of a Semitic city circa 500 B.C. throught its elements: the Cathedral (actually a priest with an altar), the Bazaar, the Well, the Wall, the Gate, etc. There is a very interesting twist in the end. An initial codebase - "Humanity version 0.0.3" is available on the homepage. Writers and hackers who are interested in contributing, monitoring or reading the results, are welcome to join the mailing list or visit the site frequently.
