ENTERPRISE 3 SOFTWARE ON LUNAR FLARE APPLICATION APPLIANCE

Inc. (Nasdaq: TRCD) -- developer of the revolutionary IlluminaTM clustering
software and Lunar FlareTM clustered server appliance - and Tarantella,
Inc., (Nasdaq: TTLA), a leading developer of network infrastructure software
for providing enterprise users managed and secure application access over
the web, today announced that Tarantella® Enterprise 3™ software has been
certified on Tricord's Lunar Flare Application Appliance (AA) platform.  By
integrating the Tarantella® software onto Tricord's clustered appliances,
customers reduce deployment time and complexity, ensure continuous access to
mission-critical applications, and benefit from excellent performance due to
Illumina's multiple processor, clustered architecture.

Tarantella Enterprise 3 software provides managed access to any type of
enterprise application, and delivers these applications over public and
private networks. Because the Tarantella software installs on a centralized
server, no changes are required to the application servers, and there is no
client software required - merely a standard web browser.  Furthermore, by
integrating Tarantella software with a Lunar Flare cluster, clients have
continuous access to their applications, due to the availability features of
Tricord's Illumina software coupled with Tarantella's advanced server array
features.  If an appliance in the cluster fails, Tarantella users continue
to access their applications without interruption.

Tricord's Application Partner Program

certification of applications with Lunar Flare clusters.  Tricord's
application appliance series combines a high-performance Linux server with
built-in clustered storage, making it an optimal appliance solution for
content-hungry applications. An application can be certified either as an
integrated application running on the Lunar Flare AA platform, or as a
tethered application using Lunar Flare NAS as back-end storage.   Certifying
applications allows independent software vendors (ISVs) and systems
