REC Cinet AS and Trustix AS announce the launch of SmartWall network firewall

DRAMMEN/TRONDHEIM, January 8th, 2002 - The two Norwegian companies 
REC Cinet AS and Trustix AS today annonced the launch of SmartWall, a new 
integrated network firewall with a graphical user interface that makes it 
easier and more secure to control and secure enterprises' Internet activities.

REC Cinet, the server and PC manufacturer, and the software company Trustix 
have formed a strategic alliance for the development of integrated products 
and services on the Linux platform. The first result of this cooperation is 
the SmartWall, a secure and integrated network firewall.  This integrated 
solution is based on Trustix software installed on REC Cinet's hardware. 
For small to mid sized companies  wanting a cost effective and secure
firewall, this is the ideal solution.
