Features of 0.30 - X3D compatibility, thanks to Don Brutzman's translator SW. - Java integration improved. - EAI integration improved. - Text and FontStyle nodes almost compliant. - ElevationGrids working. - Many Texture improvements. - Re-vamped Netscape Plugin. - reworked install process. FreeWRL works on Unix machines. The target machine runs RedHat 7.2, but all other Linux and FreeBSD platforms are very easy to port to; Irix, Solaris, and other Unix boxes take a little bit more work. The INSTALL.html document outlines the work needed to install FreeWRL on machines other than the target machine. Give it a try by viewing FreeWRL Home Page at: http://www.crc.ca/FreeWRL or http://FreeWRL.sourceforge.net/ We are always looking for feedback, and/or help to make FreeWRL work for you.
