Subject: [PATCH 2.4.18-pre7] Radix tree page cache
Date: 04 Feb 2002 08:59:50 +0200

Hi there,

This is the radix tree page cache patch against 2.4.18-pre7.
Changes from the previous release:
  - backported 2.5.x changes by Christoph Hellwig
  - couple of bug fixes

I've observed deadlocks/livelocks when running dbench on a shmfs.
Unlike the 2.5, these all seem like pure OOM ones.

Otherwise, the patch feels solid on disk filesystems. I use dbench 40
as a stress test.

Regards,
velco
