LPI exam 101 will be available at the show for 50 Euros. (Current price at a test site is 115 Euros.) Secondly, LPI held it's annual elections of the board. Tom Peters resigned from the board as of yesterdays meeting. He says he needs some free time, and relaxation as LPI takes up much time and effort. Tom Peters is from Amsterdam and is one of the original members of the board since LPI started in 1999. He will continue to participate in a lesser role. LPI thanks Tom for all his hard work and constant efforts. Jon 'maddog' Hall was elected to replace Tom. Maddog is well known in Linux circles, and his placement on the board is a very exciting step for LPI. We look forward to working with maddog and learning from him going forward. The remainder of the board has not changed and is comprised of; Chuck Mead - N.Carolina Evan Leibovitch - Ontario Gen Narui - Japan Jim Lacey - California Kara Pritchard - Illinois Jared Buckley - Texas -- -- This message was sent by the lpi-announce mailing list.
