Last week's announcement of 8.4a4 was flawed. It was incorrectly
transcribed as "8.4a3", it failed to mention the "awesome new windows
makefiles for VC++" [DG], and it generally underadvertised how new
and MUCH improved this release is. CL apologizes for the wasted
motion.
