UFFI (Universal Foreign Function Interface) is a tool for interfacing
Common Lisp implementations to C-language compatible libraries. It provides
a common interface based on a subset of the functionality available in
supported Lisp implementations (currently Allegro CL 6.1, LispWorks 4.2 and
CMU CL 18d). In a way, UFFI does for Lisp something similar to what SWIG
does for other languages.
