New Editor
I have decided to step down as the Collection Editor. I've given it a
lot of thought over the past few months and feel this is the right
decision for me and for the LDP.
The role of Collection Editor is an important one, but not one I am
very good at, and we also have other needs that require my programming
skills. Therefore, I have asked Joy Goodreau to take over the Editor
job for me. For awhile now Joy has been helping with the editing and
reviewing efforts, and has been doing very well. Please welcome Joy to
her new role and give her the same support you have given me.
I will not be leaving the project, just working on different things,
so don't think you're now free of me. :-)

Microsoft has demonstrated that it will use its prodigious market power and
immense profits to harm any firm that insists on pursuing initiatives that
could intensify competition against one of Microsoft's core products. ...
The ultimate result is that some innovations that would truly benefit
consumers never occur for the sole reason that they do not coincide with
Microsoft's self-interest.
--Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson in the Microsoft antitrust trial
