This base kernel is finally booting and not eating filesystems for me,
so here's a snapshot ;-)  The interface has been tweaked a bit, so take
note.  The permission_lite hook can simply return -EAGAIN to retain old
behaviour.  As usual, please let me know if you have troubles with this
release.
