From: Paolo Amoroso <amoroso@mclink.it> To: lwn@lwn.net Subject: vn-cCLan Date: Mon, 29 Apr 2002 15:04:35 +0200 vn-cCLan (Vendor-Neutral cCLan) is a new, experimental cCLan archive network based on tar archives and the `asdf' system building conventions rather than Debian packages. The network currently includes two sites. cCLan (comprehensive Common Lisp archive network) is a Lisp software distribution project much like CTAN for (La)TeX and CPAN for Perl. Its goal is to enable users to issue a single command for downloading, compiling and installing a module or application and all the libraries it depends on.
