February 7, 2000 LWN reports from LinuxWorld New York LWN attended the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo, held February 1-4, 2000, in New York City. In between parties and cab rides, we were able to get in a few reports on what was happening: Conectiva Linux is the leading distribution in Latin America. We talked with Conectiva CEO Sandro Nunes Henrique about what the company is up to and where it is going. We also had a conversation with the principals of Lynx Real-Time Systems about their plans for embedded Linux. No LinuxWorld conference would be complete without a keynote speech by Linus Torvalds.
