Boxed Penguin.
Mekinok Systems
Engineering has introduced Boxed Penguin:
Instant Infrastructure. This product is similar to those mentioned
on the LWN Front page last week,
as it takes a particular distribution (in this case Debian GNU/Linux) and
adds additional packages to create a complete infrastructure. Open AFS
(server and client), Kerberos V5 (kdc and services), PAM (with krb5 and
ldap support), Cyrus IMAP with SASL+krb5 support, Postfix, Mailman, and
LDAP are all included with the Debian distribution to provide a complete
system, right out of the box. Of course it is all free/open source
software, available without charge. Mekinok hopes to make money on
support.
