PortsSparcSome early posts have hinted at trouble getting Red Hat 5.2 to work on Sparc systems. Not much in the way of details is available as of press time, unfortunately.AlphaPC Week has run a long and positive article about the Alpha architecture. "...Digital is back...".Folks wanting to get into the Alpha architecture cheaply may want to check out this CPU Micromart page; they are selling bare-bones 166 MHz Multia systems for $99.
