Keynote speakers announced for Embedded Systems Conference. Douglas Adams, author of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy joins Sun Microsystems' Java experts as keynote speakers at the Embedded Systems Conference, San Francisco, April 9 - 13, 2001. O'Reilly Open Source Convention call for papers. The O'Reilly Open Source Convention will be happening July 23-27 in San Diego, California. The call for papers is out; they are looking for both tutorials and talks. No deadline is given. The Ottawa Linux Symposium. The 2001 Ottawa Linux Symposium is also coming up, July 25 - July 28, 2001. Embedded Internet Conference. There is an Embedded Internet Conference coming up next August in Santa Clara, CA.
